Fiona Hill

Fiona Hill is the pen name of Ellen Pall, who grew up in the U.S. but gave her heart to the English Regency shortly after college.  Writing as Fiona Hill, she spent many happy hours learning about the etiquette, fashion, language, cooking and arts of the era.  She has also published many articles about the contemporary arts in the New York Times and elsewhere, and has written five novels under the name Ellen Pall.  “Corpse de Ballet” and “Slightly Abridged” are mysteries whose heroine writes—what else?—Regency Romances.  Ellen lives in Manhattan with her husband, Richard Dicker. Their son, Ben, DJs in L.A. as half of the duo Dreamkast.
